Harbour Centre had its fourth win in the 2008 PBL Lipovitan Amino
Sports Cup, defeating Burger King, 83-72, at The Arena on March 8. Edwin Asoro gave Batang Pier the highest lead with a three-pointer 7:20 in the fourth quarter, 74-45. Solomon Mercado led the balanced attack with 12 points.
Christian Luanzon lit up the scoreboard to give Bacchus Energy Drink its first win, beating Toyota Otis, 68-60. The former University of Santo Tomas Tiger finished with 32 points after scoring 19 in the
third quarter.
