After 2 weeks of early elimination games, only Sta. Lucia Realtors has yet to be defeated by any team. They’re now 3-0. Coke isn’t invincible after all, they bowed to Air21 Express yesterday. The Tigers’ new import Gervin scored 26 pts. in his debut but not enough to beat the Express despite Gary David’s absence. KG Canaleta was back after 1 game suspension which he served last Wednesday when the Express played the TJ Giants.

Only Ginebra and Welcoat has yet to win. Ginebra replaced Turner with Ernest Brown but Sta. Lucia played better in their out of town game in Tacloban last Saturday. Alex Crisano by the way has re-joined the GinKings and scored 7 points on that said game. Maybe he was signed to replace Holper for the meantime who got ACL injury.

Last night, Magnolia won its second straight win after two early losses. Was it worth fighting for Watkins? It would be remembered that Red Bull and Magnolia were both wanting to have him as an import. Watkins has yet to score above 23 after four games. Compared to Adam Parada’s scoring talent, I think Red Bull won.

 Games on Wednesday (Araneta Coliseum)

4:50 Welcoat Dragons vs Alaska Aces

7:20 Red Bull Barako vs Purefoods Tender Juicy
