- A lean mean scoring machine is reported to play as import for Purefoods TJ Giants. Six-foot-10 Darius Rice, who played for the National Basketball Development League, will be playing alongside the boys of Coach Ryan Gregorio. He is said to be the fittest import for the Giants for his scoring prowess.
- There are former PBA imports who will be coming back to the country, this time to play for different teams. FOrmer Shell import Wesley Wilson will be playing for All-FIlipino Champs Sta. Lucia Realtors. Randy Halcomb, who played for Talk N Text will now be suiting up for the Alaska Aces
