Jason Castro to play for NBL
Former PCU Dolphins standout Jason Castro is going to play for an Australian team called Singapore Slingers. It’s a professional team playing in the NBL. I thought he has this plan of playing for the PBA. But personally, I’d give a thumbs up on his decision to play abroad. I mean, basketball here’s kinda crowded. Yes he’s talented and all but it’s worth giving a shot. In the first place, you earn dollars when you’re in SG. Secondly, there’s a higher standard of living there, it’s a first world nation after all. Thirdly, you get to know more people aside from the ones you know in your homebase. A lot of advantages I should say.

oh yes.. definitely good decision.. he’ll have more exposure if he plays for an international league.. and i know he’ll always be welcome to come back here if things don’t go well (knock-on-wood) abroad..
