Is it true that the De La Salle Green Archers decided not to give their best to win the Fil-Oil pre-UAAP Season Tournament and the Nike Summer League to focus on their preparations for the coming collegiate season? With less than a month to prepare, the Green Archers will surely do everything to defend the UAAP title they won last year. Noticable was that only 9 players played for the Taft based school in one of their games last week. It was said that the rest were injured. Or could it be otherwise? That those who didn’t play didn’t want to incur any injury?
Meanwhile, the UST Growling Tigers will be back today from their annual pre-season team building. They left Friday for Baguio and stayed in a property owned by their very generous team manager Timmy Chong. Will this team building help the Tigers make it to the Final Four this coming Season 71?
