Sam Ekwe embroiled in another issue

If not for wrong uniforms, kicking opponents, and just plain dominating, San Beda College Nigerian center Sam Ekwe is again included in another controversy, this time connected to game fixing.
He was sent by CIDG to Camp Crame last Sunday evening for questioning. He was eventually released and not charged.
Although San Beda did not comment on the issue, a letter addressed to Ekwe was circulated supporting the Red Lions’ import center.
