Jose Rizal University is the first team that reached the NCAA seniors basketball finals as the Heavy Bombers defeated Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 63-61.
Mapua Institute of Technology extend its semis matchup with San Beda College with a win against the defending champions, 53-51.
The knockout match between the Cardinals and the Lions is on Monday at 2:30 pm at the Astrodome. The finals would begin on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum with the juniors basketball finals between defending champion San Sebastian College Recoletos and the Letran Squires at 2 pm.
Game 1 of the UAAP seniors basketball finals between Ateneo and the De La Salle would be played tomorrow at the Big Dome at 4 pm. The juniors basketball finals between Ateneo High School and Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Educational Foundation and the women’s basketball finals between FEU and University of the Philippines is played today at The Arena in San Juan.
