The PBA had it’s games last night at the Cuneta Astrodome as participants of the All-Star Weekend are scheduled to leave for Bacolod City today. In the first game, the Talk N Text Phone Pals beat Air21 Express, 116-99. The Phone Pals set an all-time PBA record of making 23 three-pointers in a game, beating Presto Tivoli’s 17 three points record in 1991. Jimmy Alapag scored 25 points making 7 out of 9 triples. TNT Import Aaron McGhee got injured minutes before halftime managed to contribute 16 points despite not being able to come back.
In the second game, league leader Coca-Cola Tigers defeated All-Filipino Champs Sta. Lucia Realtors in a close match. Jason Dixon and Gee Gervin did an awesome performance to keep the Tiger’s composure in a defense oriented game. The Realtors has three wins and three losses.
